How to improve the abrasion and abrasion resistance of marine ropes?
How to improve the abrasion and abrasion resistance of marine cables ( marine used ropes )?
From our experience, Marineusedgood offer two effective way to strengthen it:
1. Guide roller link. Check all guide rollers before arriving at the port to ensure survival and smooth surface. All possible measures are taken to reduce wear and tear of marine cables. Take a certain ship type as an example. There are 92 guide rollers in the whole ship. The supervisors are regularly decomposed to refuel. The outer surface of the ship’s rope must be repaired with paint every time it reaches the port that must be contacted to make the surface smooth. Insert an old cable horizontally at the exit of the guide hole to prevent the high-molecular-weight polyethylene cable from contacting the rigid guide roller base and the hull shell and reduce friction. Actual inspection shows that the effect is better.
2. The cable car link. The modified ropeway has also found new problems in the application of actual parking. The marine cable can only be wound on the 1-2 layer winch, the stress is relatively concentrated, the marine cable is soft and hard, which is a great test for the marine cable. After mooring, it was found that the ship's rope was not damaged, but it was deformed severely.
Use fiber cotton thread to make multiple movable "neck braces", which can tighten the roller according to the order of the roller. As a result, it can be flexibly placed in a situation in which the guide rollers may be worn out on each port marine cable depending on the cable angle. Practical application shows that the cotton sleeve can reduce the abrasion between the marine rope and the guide roller.
